Frequently Asked Questions

We’re always happy to answer your questions so please get in touch, however here are a few common ones that you may have…

How long is a filming day?

A filming day is 10hrs long, which includes some time to set-up and de-rig for a typical conference ( for example an event that runs from 9am until 5pm). Live streaming takes longer to set up as there is more equipmnet to set-up and test. 

How long does it take to edit a video?

This depends on the volume of videos – usually within 7 days from the event date. However this can be turned around faster as required. Some clients we also provide location edit teams to create videos that can be played out at the conference.

How do I get to approve my video ?

You will be able to view the edited videos on a secure weblink. Each video includes two revisons within the price.

What equipment do you use?

Our main conference filming cameras are Sony FS7 MKII, with ATEM 2 M/E Broadcast mixers and vMix systems for the highest quality pictures and live streaming. We also use Sony mirrorless cameras with prime lenses to create our cinematic and stylish highlights films. We have an array of lighting for interview filming.

Do you provide sound and video equipment for events?

Yes, we can supply any AV requirements you may need.

Can you film inside any building?

Filming inside a building or on private land requires the permission of the building owners and/or owner of the land.

If there are any visible trademarks and branding on the building, permission may be required if they are visible in the film, unless they are ‘background’ and not a key focus of any particular shot.

Can I film people at my event?

Yes, but you need to make people aware filming is taking place, so they can choose to attend or not if they are sensitive to this. This can be a notice on entry clearly stating that filming will be taking place, or online during pre-event communications with your attendees. For any specific interviews then we would advise written consent is aquired from all participants. If for any reason somone does not want to be included they can let our location team know.

Do you supply captioning and different language subtitles?

Yes, we can supply all videos with capioning or multi-language subtitles. Our live streaming team can provide human and AI live captioning for your live events. 

Can I include slides in my conference video?

Yes, all presentation slides can be included in the edit, or a multi window layout can be used to create a webinar style video for speaker presentations.

Who is the interviewer and do I need to be involved?

Our Director/Producer can ask the questions for any interviews. We do however advise that someone from your team that is knowledgeable be the interviewer, as this tends to bring a deeper level of conversation into the interviewees responses.

Where do you supply filming services to?

We are based in London UK, however we travel globally working with clients on international conferences and events all over the world.

If I wanted a website to host a live stream can you help?

Yes, we have a high quality fully brandable virtual events platform with registration, Q&A, polls, agenda, biographies and networking enabling delivery of every event to a global audience.

Can you live stream from anywhere?

We have LiveU bonded video encoders which enable us to broadcast from most locations, even if the venue connectivity is bad, as long as there is 4G/5G.

Do your services include insurance?

All projects include £5m public and products liabilty, which can be increased to £10m upon request.
